Distal Pancreatectomy Animations for Patient Education
Pancreatic health is a sensitive topic that deserves more patient focused, empathy driven education. Collaborating with HPB surgeons from Toronto General Hospital, I created a three part educational animation for patients undergoing a distal pancreatectomy. Drawing on research, surgical observations, and patient interviews, this project approaches patient education from an empathetic, realistic patient narrative aimed at improving adherence and easing preoperative anxiety.
